“In the hallway, they saw a corridor with several doors leading off it. Everything in the hall was covered in dust, as though no one had touched it for a hundred years.” – From the book ‘George’s Secret Key to The Universe’ – Lucy & Stephen Hawking
In the hallway, they saw a corridor with several doors leading off it. Everything in the hall was covered in dust, as though no one had touched it for a hundred years. Rohit clenched his sister’s hands tightly.
“Why did you hit the ball so hard?” she swallowed the excessive saliva and asked.
He dropped his head in response. He knew Appa would be upset if he got to know they lost yet another ball. A moment ago, fear of Appa seemed more than fear of the unknown. But now that they were here, they wanted to run back to the safety of Appa’s arms. Rohit spotted the ball… and ran towards it. The ball went further and further backwards. Rohit tried to grab it but he couldn’t cover the distance. A door opened and the ball rolled behind the door. Rohit stopped and looked back to see Reema. He thought she would stop him, but she didn’t. Instead, he noticed a sinister smile on her face. He closed his eyes to take a moment to process it.
He opened his eyes a second later, he found himself in his bed. And his sister Reema was waking him up with the unforgettable sinister smile on her face.
