“What is your wish?” Tanya asked, looking into my eyes.
“I am not going to tell you,” I replied and put the red color paper in the wish jar.
Tanya’s expressions changed. She accepted her defeat, or so it seemed.
I left the room.
A couple of minutes later I realized that something was not right.
I return to the room to see Tanya holding the red color paper in.
“Tanya!” I gasped.
Nodding she turned towards me, with tears in her eyes. In her hand, the piece of paper read “I wish to get married to Tanya this year.”
This post is written for Friday Fictioneer. You can read other stories Here. I provided today’s prompt. It is a wish jar at my home. We write down our wishes and put it in this wish jar. And believe it or not, several wishes have come true. Thank you, Rochelle, for accepting this picture.
