The Note

I have decided. It is my last day, today. I have the last thing on my bucket list: to visit an amusement park. I want to spend a wonderful day, all by myself. I have spent every single penny on this vacation. I have lived my last night in the most luxurious suite of the most expensive hotel in the town. I have had the best meal of my life. Now I’m left with a couple of hundred bucks. I want to spend my last day at the happiest place on the planet. I have not lived happily, but I can die happy.

I hop on the roller coaster, you know the ones that go up and down like my life. Only my highs haven’t been as high. A girl sits next to me. God! She is beautiful. Her red cheeks, and the curly hair- straight out of a fairy tale look. I get conscious of my out-of-bed looks. As the ride starts, she holds my hands a little too tight. And boy, does she scream! As the ride ends, she gets off but not before throwing a smile at me and waving at me. I stay frozen on my seat. I lose her to the crowd. I come back to my sense and I notice there is a note in my hands. Those 5 words are going to change my life “catch me if you can…”. The note is sealed with a kiss.
