I come to this club every weekend, usually with a couple of friends. Today I came only with one, Ted.

As I grooved to the music, I noticed a man dropping a few drops from a vial into the drink of a girl sitting on a barstool. The unsuspecting girl had been busy on the phone and without realizing what transpired, she picked the glass. I took a leap and toppled her glass before she could take a sip.

Her eyes were burning red with anger.

She charged towards me, “what the hell was that?”

“Wait.. if you knew what happened, you would thank me,” taking a few steps back, I said.

“Oh yeah. pls, explain. I’m all ears.” She was seething with anger.

“He.. err.. someone spiked your drink,” I said.

“Oh yeah? Who did” she asked.

I looked around, trying to spot the man who did it. But I couldn’t spot anyone.

“Someone in the crowd” I replied.

” Listen, mister. You better buy me a drink.” She demanded.

“Sure.” I pulled next to her and shouted to the bartender to repeat her drink.

I looked around and this time I spotted the man who spiked her drink. I winked at my wingman, Ted, who put two drops of sweetener in her drink and got me a date.

  1. Wow! This was so much like a Bollywood film!
Was Ted the guy who “spiked” the girl’s drink so that our Hero could “rescue” her? Smart move, if that’s the case! 🙂
Visited you after a long time, Priya…and, enjoyed it! ❤
