Today I finally get to meet her. I have decided to tell her how I feel for her. It is now or never.
I remember the day I saw her, for the first time. She was riding her cycle in the rain. Looking at her I forgot everything else. She looked at me and smiled. My heart took a leap and yodeled. She had the cutest smile. It was love at first sight, for me. I started following her. I didn’t want to be a stalker or the creep. I wanted her to think of me as… a lover… or as an admirer.. a harmless one.
I counted the hours to see a glimpse of her. I liked her hair and I loved her dupatta. She always wore a dupatta which playfully danced with the wind. Though, I always wanted to tell her to tie it around her waist…but…
…I am late. For the first time ever, I am late. She peacefully lies inside the box. I keep her favorite yellow daisies near her. I silently tell her how I feel about her. I guess, now I will forever be a secret admirer… nothing more.

My goodness, what a twist at the end. I so wish that it was a happy ending as the story has all the romantic descriptions. But anyways, thats the part of the life isn’t it?
Yes.. it is. I wish they had a hapoy ending too. Thank you, Suhasini
Wonderful.. Loved it reading..
Thank you, Amrita.
A love gone astray. Object of love is no more. Sad tale nicely told.
Thank you, Abhijit
Unrequited love is the epitome of bittersweetness. When the object of such love is no more it oddly intensifies.
So true. Thank you, Kanika
Its sad that he was too late, poignant one Pri.
Thank you, Aks.

Oh, if only he had told her earlier, he could have been giving the daisies to her in her hands!
If only… Thank you, Anshu.
