Everyone had warned him against it. He didn’t listen. As he sat inside the car, he reflected on the bad choices that he made earlier that day. He realized that he was not as brave as he pretended to be. Seeing the empty roads, he had patted himself on the back. Smart move. I avoided traffic! But he hadn’t thought what if the car brakes down.
He came out of the car and saw a tree right in the middle of the road. How is it possible? Did I hit the tree? He wondered and observed the tree. The barks of the tree had a deep cut. I remember now. I hit the tree. No wonder the car doesn’t start. His head was woozy, he held the tree to calm himself. That’s when he heard the siren. Is it the police?
An ambulance screeched right before his eyes. Even better! As he started to gather the strength to go to them, he noticed they pull out a body from the car. It was his body. It hit him… he was dead. Not so smart move, after all.
Don’t forget the #TellTaleThursday rules-
As always, write bold, write unusual! Have Fun!
