touch in the silent solitude
ripple a mist to the eyes
reverberate whispered words
make one hum the tune of a forgotten song
remind frequent visits to an edifice
aromatize the withered rose kept in a book
refresh a dream in a lonesome night
relive an ephemeral moment as an eternal eon
drape around an aura of forbidden love
rekindle the flame of a flickering spark
melt the frozen relic reminiscences
carve the footprints’ impression in the heart.

  1. That’s a beautiful poem. Carve the footprint’s impression in your heart.

  2. Well penned. Beautiful !!

  3. Geeta Nair says:

Loved the imagery/ My favourite line “aromatize the withered rose kept in a book”

  4. Love the imagery in the poem. Memories are interesting…they can be fickle and yet make a mountain out of a molehill.
